What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that life happens! You may cancel or reschedule your appointment more than 24 hours in advance with no penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 50% charge of the booked service cost. No-shows will be charged 100% of the requested service total.
What about group cancellations?
For groups of three or more, cancellations made:
- Within 48 hours will result in a 50% charge of all reserved services
- Within 24 hours will result in a 100% charge of all reserved services.
No-shows will also be charged 100% of the requested service total.
What if I arrive late to my appointment?
If you're running behind, please call the salon so we can do our best to accommodate you. Arrivals 10 minutes or more late may need to be modified to a shorter service to stay on schedule. You will still be charged the full price of the originally booked service. We deeply value our technician's time and strive to protect every client with the best possible experience - thank you for being punctual!
I have dip or gel polish on my nails - what should I do?
If you have dip powder or gel polish on your nails, please book a removal along with your requested service.
Adding a note in your appointment doesn't automatically reserve extra removal time. If a removal isn't booked in advance, we may need to shorten your service to stay on schedule.
Do you offer complimentary soak-offs?
Yes! Soak-offs are complimentary when your previous set was done by H&E Paint Bar and you're receiving a new service at the same visit.
If your nails were done elsewhere or you're booking a soak-off only, a removal fee will apply.
I want nail art or French tips!
We love creating custom nail art and French designs! Because detailed designs take extra time, please book nail art in advance when scheduling your appointment. If you're unsure how to book or want to confirm whether your design qualifies as detailed art, DM us a photo of your inspo or call the salon - we're happy to guide you!
Do you offer acrylic services?
No, we do not offer acrylic nails or acrylic removals.
At H&E, we focus on maintaining the health and integrity of your natural nails. We're proud to offer safer, high-quality alternatives such as Dip Powder, Aprés Gel-X, and Builder Gel sets, which deliver the same beautiful results without harsh chemicals.
Where is the best place to park?
City Center Location:
Street parking is available on Free Street and Spring Street. The nearest parking garages are Temple Street Garage and Free Street Garage.

Middle Street Location:
Street parking is available on Middle Street, Hancock Street, and India Street. There is also a pay-by-plate lot behind Micucci's Grocery.
Do you offer apprenticeships?
At this time, we are not accepting new apprentices. Please check back in the future for updates on openings or training opportunities.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Cash.
Gratuities are not required but always appreciated - cash or Venmo tips are preferred when possible.
